As the name implies, this is a fracture of the cuboid bone of the foot. Isolated cuboid fractures are the result of direct trauma. Most, however, occur in conjunction with other fractures of the foot.
Lateral radiograph of the foot. There is a minimally displaced fracture of the cuboid. This was not seen on the other projections.
